Wisconsin is one of those great areas where it seems like there is always something going on! Here in Superior, we have the added benefit of being so close to Duluth that we get to enjoy all of the events and festivals of our neighbors across the bridge as well.
This week is no exception! Starting October 4th, 2019, the Bayfield Apple Festival will be kicking off in Bayfield, Wisconsin. According to the official website, the festival is:
A celebration of the autumn harvest and Bayfield’s agricultural heritage, tour the orchards and wineries, peruse fine arts and crafts while sampling local foods at more than 60 food booths. Live music by the Blue Canvas Orchestra of Big Top Chautauqua and a carnival round out the offerings.

Bayfield is only about an hour and a half away from Superior. Take the scenic, gorgeous trip along beautiful Lake Superior and soak in all the vibrant colors of fall!
Once you arrive, you’ll be treated to what USATODAY called: “one of the 10 Best Fall Harvest Festivals in the nation”. This year crowns the 55th anniversary of the history festival, and you’ll be able to enjoy trying various foods, listening to live music, a carnival, thematic contests and more!
Enjoy the festivities, but make sure that you stick around for the “Grand Parade” which tops off the celebration with a mass band of over 400 participants that march down Rittenhouse Avenue to Lake Superior!
